The group's values are based on innovation, respect for the environment and health.
Established in Boves (80) since 2002, the DAW France production site comprises 2 plants: a paint plant and a plant dedicated to the production of glue and bonding plaster for exterior thermal insulation (ETI) systems.
Meldorfer® bricks can be used on almost any substrate, and are extremely economical, both in terms of materials and time saved on site, thanks to their thin thickness and low weight. They integrate perfectly with insulating facades, as well as ventilated facades, conventional renders, facade combinations and interior spaces.
Meldorfer® bricks can be combined with a wide range of insulation structures, from rockwool to EPS. In contrast to conventional hard facings, no additional dowelling is required, and insulation is achieved with a bonding surface of just 40%.
Inside and out: Meldorfer® bricks offer a host of advantages, and can meet any
can meet every design requirement.
Each brick is unique, and all surfaces are individually crafted in accordance with the facade's overall design. These 4 to 6 millimetre-thick bricks are extremely light and very economical compared with solid bricks and facing bricks, and meet the highest quality standards in terms of design and performance.
They are as resistant and durable as solid bricks and facing bricks. This is the result of extensive research, testing and years of proven experience. While the initial shape of the brick is produced mechanically, the final surface finish is achieved by traditional craftsmanship. Bricks are made from over 90% natural sands, crushed stones and high-quality mineral elements. The result is a particularly strong, impact-resistant and easy-to-clean material that offers architects, designers and builders almost limitless possibilities for the design of facades and interior spaces.
