SIBCA 2025: Building a low-carbon future for a resilient, vibrant city

Co-organized by SIBCA Events and the BBCA Association, the Salon de l'Immo- bilier Bas Carbone (SIBCA) returns to the Grand Palais in Paris from September 3 to 5, 2025.

For its 4th edition, the SIBCA will bring together more than 12,500 professionals, 200 exhibitors and 320 speakers around a program built around the major climate challenges facing the entire profession: decarbonization of buildings, transformation of major urban projects and territories, investments, industrialization and climate adaptation. The recently renovated Grand Palais will be the setting for SIBCA 2025, an opportunity to broaden the focus to include the decarbonization of heritage.

Under the patronage of French President Nicolas Sarkozy and sponsored by climatologist Jean Jouzel, SIBCA has become the must-attend event of the autumn: a place for meetings, demonstrations of know-how and concrete solutions to accelerate the low-carbon transition of the real estate industry in France and Europe.

Despite an unstable regulatory environment, initiatives are multiplying. Elected representatives, investors, developers, owners, designers, planners, archi- tects, urban planners, builders, engineers, public and private decision-makers, industrialists, users: all will be present to share their commitments and build together a low-carbon, resilient, comfortable and lively future.

"The regions play a key role in regional planning. We are delighted to welcome them as we work together to build a shared low-carbon future. Our aim is to promote sustainable urban planning that respects health and biodiversity. We want to inspire the entire real estate chain, as well as elected officials. With this new edition, we are providing them with a response that is as close as possible to their issues and concerns."

"In the way we shape our buildings, cities and territories, we can meet the demands of reducing emissions and adapting to climate change, while consolidating asset value for both investors and users. It is possible to combine ecological, economic and social performance. Exemplary BBCA-certified projects in France and LCBI-certified projects in Europe are proof of this. This year, the retail and logistics sectors are joining the momentum, and their commitments will be presented at SIBCA,

Stanislas Pottier, President of the BBCA association.
