Brikawood designs and manufactures wooden kit houses with very low environmental impact. Its patented construction system is based on Douglas-fir bricks from French sustainably-managed forests. The bricks fit together without nails, screws or glue.
Each construction incorporates wood-fiber insulation, offering excellent thermal comfort with no thermal bridges. The result: a healthy, efficient and environmentally-friendly home.
Our kits are designed for both private individuals and professionals, for a variety of projects: main residence, office, tourist accommodation or extension. They are available in sizes ranging from 20 m² to 140 m², but it is also possible to design custom projects, adapted to the specific needs of each customer. The Brikawood concept allows you to build sustainably, while keeping your budget under control.
Quick and easy to assemble, our system is particularly well suited to self-build projects. It allows everyone to play an active part in building their own home, even those with no technical experience. A new way of building, more responsible and more accessible.
The 20m² studio is built from Douglas fir and is perfect for the garden, camping or any other type of site. No planning permission is required.
Brikawood designs wood-frame kit homes based on a patented system that requires no glue, screws or nails. The bricks are made from eco-certified (class 3) Douglas-fir from French sustainably-managed forests, and are combined with wood-fiber insulation that complies with RT2012 and RE2020 requirements.
The buildings can be dismantled and reused, and rest on piles without the need for a concrete slab. Production offcuts are recycled in the workshop, and construction sites generate very little waste.
Designed with energy efficiency in mind, our homes are compatible with low-carbon equipment such as wood-fired heating, solar water heaters and double-flow ventilation systems.
Their rapid assembly, suitable for self-builders, greatly reduces the impact of the construction site. They can be used for a variety of purposes (residences, offices, accommodation), with a view to sustainability, reversibility and upgradability.
