ACT is an innovative low-carbon cement technology that can be deployed on a global scale.
Developed during more than a decade of research, ACT enables a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions compared with the European average for cement emissions.
ACT achieves this by optimizing the use of locally available alternative materials, while guaranteeing the required technical characteristics and cost performance.
ACT technology has already been used on over thirty pilot sites, and is in the process of being certified by the CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment).
