In 2006, François Cochet and Laurent Noca, founders of CCB GREENTECH, set themselves the mission of developing building solutions adapted to climate change and with low environmental impact.
After years of R&D and more than sixty projects, TimberRoc® wood concrete was born: a biosourced concrete with a negative carbon footprint, enabling the construction of walls (load-bearing or not) and slabs for all types of buildings, up to R+10, including in seismicity zones 1 to 4. Several constructive principles have been developed, benefiting from ATEx case A, and are available via a network of licensed prefabrication partners, such as Spurgin Leonhart and R-Technologies, who have a total of three prefabrication sites in France.
Wood concrete stands out for its unique ability to combine environmental and structural performance. Very high inertia (summer comfort), excellent sound absorption, fire resistance, durability... these are just some of the qualities that enable TimberRoc® to anticipate and exceed the requirements of the RE2020, while actively contributing to the decarbonization of the building sector.
The biosourced material used in TimberRoc® is a high-quality wood aggregate with the Bois de France label, derived from pulpwood (not suitable for use as lumber), mainly supplied by PEFC-certified French growers. The high proportion of biomass has earned TimberRoc® the "Biosourced Product" label.
Since 2021, CCB Greentech has been based in Beaurepaire (38), on a former industrial wasteland, with two sites: a wood aggregate production plant, and a pilot plant dedicated to R&D for the development of new uses for wood concrete.
The result is ParkROC, a wood concrete drainage slab developed to meet the growing challenges of rainwater management and sustainable outdoor development. Combining permeability, aesthetics and a reduced environmental footprint, ParkROC is aimed at local authorities, urban planners, landscape architects and developers looking for low-carbon technical solutions for pedestrian areas, parking lots and public amenities.
In July 2023, CCB Greentech was awarded the "Greentech Innovation" label by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, before winning the CleanTech Open France competition in September 2024.
TimberRoc® wood concrete and the ParkROC slab thus embody a disruptive innovation for a construction sector in the throes of change - beneficial for the Planet, for the building user, and for the players in the value chain (MOA, MOE, contractors...).
Bio-sourced drainage slab, high-performance, aesthetically pleasing, and installed in record time. For sustainable and resilient developments, even in sensitive or densely populated areas.
CCB Greentech has been developing low-carbon construction solutions based on wood concrete since 2006. TimberRoc®, a biosourced material with a negative carbon footprint, can be used to create load-bearing walls, facades and slabs for all types of building up to R+10. It combines technical (inertia, acoustics, fire, etc.) and environmental performance (Biosourced Product label, RE2020 2025/2028 compliance). The material is industrialized via licensed prefabricators such as Spurgin Leonhart and R-Technologies. CCB Greentech produces its wood aggregates at its Beaurepaire (38) site, where it is also developing new uses, such as ParkROC® , a draining slab made from wood concrete for outdoor landscaping. Recognized by the Greentech Innovation label and CleanTech Open 2024 prizewinner, the company supports building and regional players on their low-carbon trajectory.
