Girasole Energies: French & independent photovoltaic electricity producer
To produce local, low-carbon and competitive electricity, we develop, finance, build and operate photovoltaic power plants all over France and on all types of supports:
- roof
- parking lot
- ground
We remain our customers' single point of contact, from project feasibility studies through to plant operation and maintenance.
Surface area: 1,450 m² / Installed capacity: 290 kWp / Annual output: 406 MWh / Impact: Equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 90 French households
400 power plants built / 300 commissioned / 800 projects under development
Girasole Energies has installed over 100 MWp of solar power, preventing the emission of over 10,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year and sustainably supplying the equivalent of over 40,000 homes with electricity.
Our commitment to low-carbon is structural and cross-functional, anchored in our core business:
the deployment of high-performance photovoltaic solar solutions for businesses, local authorities and farms.
Our approach is based on 3 key pillars:
1. Eco-design of installations
We favor materials with a low carbon footprint, and work exclusively with industrial partners committed to responsible production. All our projects undergo a full life-cycle assessment to minimize impacts right from the design stage.
2. Energy and digital optimization
Our infrastructures incorporate intelligent energy management systems:
- Control systems and maximized self-consumption to avoid network losses.
- Remote monitoring and predictive algorithms to optimize yields.
- Coupling with electric mobility for complete local energy recovery.
3. Global decarbonization approach
We have taken steps to calculate our carbon footprint and adopt a strategy to reduce our emissions. Today, supported by the Greenly platform, we are committed to :
- Calculate our greenhouse gas emissions annually,
- Adopt an emissions reduction trajectory,
- Calculate our avoided emissions in 2025.
We regularly raise our employees' awareness of climate issues through dedicated workshops (weekly training, individual carbon footprint calculations, Climate Pitch, etc.).
Our vision: to go beyond the simple production of renewable energy to build energy ecosystems that are sober, efficient and forward-looking.
