The Maison de la Construction Métallique (MCM) brings together professional organizations representing the metal construction industry: construction companies, product manufacturers, technical centers and unions.
Its mission is to coordinate collective actions, to represent the sector to public authorities, and to promote high-performance, low-carbon and circular metal construction.
A place for dialogue, the MCM leads working groups on regulatory, environmental and technical issues.
It supports concrete projects on reuse, traceability, FDES and even decarbonization, to support the players in the sector in their transformation and strengthen the place of metal construction in the building and infrastructure sector.
This video presents the Métal Réemploi platform for buying and selling reused metal products.
We are carrying out three flagship initiatives for the decarbonization of metal construction:
- Métal Réemploi, a platform facilitating the reuse of metallic materials, accompanied by a mobile laboratory ensuring technical compliance.
- ImpAct'A, support for Carbon Footprint using the ACT Step by Step method, to identify levers for reducing emissions.
- Decarbonization roadmap, co-constructed with stakeholders in the sector, to structure a common strategy integrating reuse, low-carbon materials and urban redevelopment.
These three projects equip the sector to accelerate its ecological transition in a concrete and collective manner.
