REVIBAT is a high-impact company that does everything in its power to recycle building waste. The aim is to keep 75,000 tonnes of glass wool out of landfill every year, while reducing the extraction of raw material needed to manufacture new insulation.
Created in 2020, REVIBAT has developed REVIVER 36P, a low-carbon insulation product made from recycled glass wool, to help the b tment industry reduce its carbon footprint. REVIBAT is thus helping to optimize construction CI (Impact on climate change of material components) as part of the RE2020 (Environmental Regulation 2020).
Our manufacturing process and all our actions are designed to have the least impact on the planet. Thanks to our patented technology, REVIBAT produces its insulation using 10 times less energy than conventional mineral wool (Revibat's 170° oven, compared with 1250°C + 200°C for conventional glass wool).
We advocate eco-design, with products that are recycled as much as possible and easily recyclable at the end of their life.
In keeping with our objective of reducing our carbon footprint, we have chosen to locate our plant on a brownfield site, using reconditioned, second-hand production machinery wherever possible.
The location of the Seine-et-Marne (77) plant, as well as future plants, is designed to be as close as possible to the waste and to its customers, in order to limit the impact of transport.
Our production started up at the beginning of 2025, and we began consulting with organizations and companies very early on, so that our REVIVER 36P low-carbon insulation could benefit from an FDES validating its carbon gain.
The companies we have selected, ESTEAN and G-ON, will be in a position to publish an EHDS in the 4th quarter of 2025, following a complete analysis of our production cycle over a period of between 6 and 9 months.
