Project, solution, service and innovation for Sibca

In Saint-Mihiel, the OPH de la Meuse is breaking new ground with the renovation of 16 social housing units, reaching new heights in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Daikin heat pumps played a crucial role, significantly reducing CO2 emissions (label upgraded from D to A). The energy label was upgraded from F to B, i.e. from 415 kW/h to just 90 kW/h per m²/year, with the assurance of significantly reduced rental charges.
This ambitious project is led by architect Israël Dos Santos.
SETCEBA INGENIERIE proposed replacing the electric radiators with 2 Daikin Altherma R-32 air/water heat pumps in cascade, feeding a primary water loop. Each dwelling is equipped with a water-to-water heat pump to provide heating and domestic hot water for the 16 apartments. Lorraine Energie is in charge of this installation, which is exemplary in both environmental and energy terms. Partly subsidized by EDF, the installation will be instrumented to measure energy and carbon savings.

O2 Ingénieurs Conseils: Technical Equipment Prize at the CFP-ICO Performance Engineering Awards

As part of the competition organized at Interclima 2022 by the HVAC trade magazine Chaud Froid Performance (CFP), in association with the association Ingénierie du Confort Objectif 2050, O2 Ingénieurs Conseils won the Technical Equipment Prize.
The jury appreciated the adaptation of this water-to-water heat pump solution to the residential sector, usually used for tertiary buildings, recognizing the innovative nature of this technical recommendation and installation.
O2 Ingénieurs Conseils is a young design office, founded in 2019 by Olivier Marullaz and Olivier Tavenas, who had already worked together for several years in a previous design office.
Their appetite for innovation leads them to collaborate on singular operations where their advice is sure to focus on innovative technical recommendations, guaranteeing performance and sustainability.
