The Metropole of Greater Paris is a major player in the circular economy and decarbonization.
The 3 main pillars of metropolitan action in the Circular Economy :
-FEDERATE an ecosystem of players united around major bodies and events;
-ENHANCE knowledge of the region to equip players and guide metropolitan policies;
-TAKE ACTION through action programs designed to support local public and private players in their transition.
The Metropole du Grand Paris is also taking responsibility for integrating the low-carbon dimension into its development projects. In fact, large-scale developments piloted or supported by the Metropole du Grand Paris will improve the living environment of residents by developing new neighborhoods that will be exemplary in terms of energy transition. In particular, the Metropole is the contracting authority for the Olympic Aquatic Centre and its crossing.
